Two Sèvres pale blue ground plates
one painted with a Winter landscape of figures before a fence and a boudry wall, the other with a view of a bridge across a river before buildings, both within gilt roundels and key pattern bands, the wells with gilt scrolls, the borders gilt with anthemions, the first with printed blue star mark above 31 for 1831, incised numerals, the other with S64 for 1864 and decorator's mark for 1865 (very minor scratch to first plate) -- 24.2cm. diam.
