painted with three roundels of a dog by a stream, a dog swimming and a landscape among scattered gilt sprigs between blue scrolls enclosing a pink ground section between blue ground bands gilt with swags of leaves, the painting possibly by Vieillard, blue interlaced L mark, incised mark, circa 1785 (minor flaking to gilding)
