A Meissen pear-shaped cofee-pot and cover
with a branch handle, painted with vignettes of a puma crouching on rockwork and a startled ibex, the cover with a squirrel, among scattered sprigs, the bud finial, handle and spout enriched in blue and gilt, blue crossed sword and dot mark, Pressnummer 28, circa 1765, with an English silver-gilt hinged mount marked for Robert Garrard, London 1865 (damage and repair to spout) -- 27cm. high; a matching hot water jug painted with vignettes of a sporting hound and doe (cover deficient, some minor restoration) -- 14cm. high; and a slop basin painted with vignettes of a lion and a bear in its cave (damage and repair) -- 16cm. diam.
