Three autograph letters and six typed letters signed ("Yours Ronald") or ("Ronald") to G.S. Whittel "Jock" (Editor Studio International), together 8 pages, 4° from Studio Eight, 77 Bedford Gardens Park 9519, London W.8; 32 Newton Road, Bayswater, London W.2 and 4, rue Antoine-Dubois, Paris 6e, following his career between the 15 January 1949 and 30 April 1965.
Searle delights at how "[his] reputation has gone up considerably in Fleet Street since the Graphic article - mostly editors and in a tone of marked respect!" (15 January 1949). With his reputation well established, Searle writes how he has "asked Charles Pick of Heinemann's to whisk [Jock] over a copy of From Frozen North to Filthy Lucre as soon as possible." which had a successful "Publication in November - late" and tells of the Bremen exhibition scheduled to "open at the Kunsthalle on 24 January, 1965...There will be over 200 pictures including a good proportion of 'Anatomies'. It is a retrospective of about 5 years work." (19 October 1967)
With an autograph letter signed ("Sincerely Ronald Searle") to Miss Harvey declining a work invitation.
