A late 19th century mixed metals pen tray,
the narrow oblong, copper base with a hammered finish and shaped and moulded sides, decorated at each end with an applied cast silver bear mask flanked by acorns and oak foliage, and applied each side with a spray of three siver oak leaves, incised mark underneath "copper and silver", no makers mark, probably American, circa 1885 - 29.5cm long.
