Third Italian edition of Serlio's Book IV, but, unlike previous editions, with a dedication to Alvise Cornaro in which Marcolini extols Cornaro for the excellent buildings that he has commissioned including the Casa Cornara at Padua with its wonderful garden, the villas at Codevigo and Campagna and, finally, a palace fit for a prince, a pope, or an emperor, at Luvignano.
