FIRST EDITION. Although not printed until 1632, this work was written and the etchings made in 1629, when della Bella was only 19 years old; he had produced his first dated etching just 2 years earlier. Brunet I, 1392; Cicognara 1439 (variant title); De Vesme 884-904.
