Woodcut view of the combat beneath drop-head title and at head of text. Gothic lettering with large opening initial "I" on a black ground, figure of the sun below colophon at end. Verso of second leaf with device of a winged lion. (Lightly browned, slight paper fault at lower margin of both leaves, same margin of first leaf with small repair.) Later 19th-century brown half morocco (extremities rubbed). Provenance: Robert, Marquess of Crewe (bookplate). Conforms with the fourth of the editions cited by Sander, except for the spelling of "Gata" which is with a single rather than a double "t". Sander 5371; Fairfax Murray 2340. (3)
