4°. 4 leaves. Large woodcut of the cupola of the Duomo on title-page. (Very small piece missing from lower fore-corner of title-page.) Modern limp boards.

One of two letters written by Bocchi in 1600 and published in 1604, referring to the damage that the Duomo suffered in February 1600 as a result of having been struck by lightning. The other was addressed to Francesco Niccolini. Both are rare. BL 17th-Century Italian I, p. 120. cf. Cicognara 1139; Vinciana 4342.
