A pair of stays with back lacing, the front covered in ivory ribbed silk brocaded in colour silks with floral sprays, the back with brown, pink, yellow and ivory striped figured silk, with pointed waist and white leather tabs at the back of the waist, circa 1770-80, the silks datin from 1760s, the lacing replaced, some wear and slight alterations
