The body finely enamelled on both sides with a bird perched on a prunus tree behind peonies and rockwork dividing pairs of animal mask handles, the cover with further flowers surmounted by a large Buddhistic lion finial, the interiors turquoise glazed, glaze chips to moulded extremities and rim of cover
