Painted with the eight Daoist Immortals holding their attributes and standing above swirling waves on the exterior, the interior with a medallion containing the Fu Lao below a pine tree in a rocky landscape

A prototype of this bowl, dated 1650-1655, from the Michael Butler Collection was was exhiited at the Princesshof Museum Leeuwanden, 1986, Catalogue, no. 98
