The steep sides decorated with two striding dragons, one looking backwards, separated by clouds above and detached waves, between pale-blue double-line borders, one with small rim chip and associated crack

A pair of Yongzheng marked cups of this pattern from the H.M. Knight Collection was included in the Oosteric Schattern Exhibition, Amsterdam, 1954, Catalogue, no. 382.

A similar pair of cups was sold in our New York Rooms, 02 December 1989, lot 384. Another pair was sold in our London Rooms, 13 December 1982, lot 553.
