The heavily potted vases enamelled in mirror image with large butterflies and birds including phoenix, Mandarin ducks, swallows and magpies amidst sprays of peonies, convulvolous, magnolias, cockscomb, camelias, prunus, lilies, hydrangeas and narcissus, above a band of chysanthemums around the footrim and peonies below the rim, the shoulders with a pair of moulded animal-mask handles suspending rings, glaze chip to one
