A RARE FAMILLE ROSE LAVENDER-GROUND 'IN AND OUT' CHUPU AND COVER
GUANGXU
Finely decorated inside and out with lobed quatrefoil panels enclosing peony sprays, reserved on a lavender ground with flowering and fruiting sprays amidst finger citrus, gourds, brids and butterflies within a border with alternating green and yellow panels containing either birds and insects or flowering and fruiting sprigs to the exterior, the interior with similar motifs reserved on a green ground framed by Buddhist emblem borders beneath the rims, iron-red Xu Shun Chang marks, tiny chips to inner rims
