Arabic manuscript on paper, 5ll. of black sini, punctuation in red, gold rosettes between verses, double red ruled margins, occasional gold and coloured illuminated marginal medallions marking the divisions of text and sajdah, sura headings in red sini on gold panels, the opening and final bifolios with gold and coloured illuminated panels around the text, both with matching red morocco binding and flap with stamped designs - 26.5 x 20.4cm.; and another similar, 5ll. black sini, red ruled margin, opening bifolio with pale blue, red and gold illuminated panels around the text, brown morocco binding and flap with stamped designs - 26.2 x 20cm., (some smudging, staining and small repairs), all China, circa 18th century
