gouache heightened with gold on paper, on a grassy plain beside an encampment, a noble shoots an arrow at a tiger as he makes love to his mistress, the couple, possibly Bas Bahadur and Rupmati, shown mounted on horses behind, green border with yellow and white rules, red leaf, mounted, framed and glazed, Jaipur, circa 1830, (negligible spotting and worming) - 25 x 32.3cm.
