A Coalport 'jewelled' canister, cover and liner
of flaring oval section, the gilt ground enriched with turquoise 'jewels' above a raised gilt band of stiff leaves below an ivory-ground section painted with panels painted to simulate precious stones, the feet moulded with leaves, the cover with similar ornament and the liner divided into two sections, pattern V.6043, printed crown marks, circa 1900 (some rubbing and flaking to gilt) -- 10cm. high
