A Victorian silver salt and pepper cellar manufactured by S. Blanckensee, 1879, the handle formed as a pair of early rackets with lop-sided heads and diamond stringing pointing upwards to form central arch, with balls, hallmarked Birmingham 1879, 63mm. (2½in.) long.
