The Battle between Cribb and Molineaux, fought at Thistleton Gap in the County of Rutland, Sept. 28, 1811, for 600 guineas [and:] The Close of the Battle or the Champion Triumphant, hand-coloured engravings, London: Walker & Knight, the latter dated 1811, 9½ x 13½in., matching walnut frames.

This pair of prints represents the beginning and end of Cribb's second fight with Molineaux, his condition having "greatly improved" after their encounter the previous year. The fight, in a 25 foot square ring, was decided in eleven rounds and 19 minutes ten seconds; Cribb won £400 in this last contest of his career. Both the prints are reproduced on plate XV of Bohun Lynch's The Prize Ring (1925). (2)
