A large late Ming blue and white porcelain oviform jar
painted with pheonix, Mandarin ducks and other birds in flight among flowering peonies, prunus and lotus among rockwork below shaped panels depicting precious objects and fruiting pomegrantes on geometric grounds with flowerheads, all above a band of stylised lappets to the foot -- 19¾in. (50.2cm) high, Wanli.
