In the Home Championship match played against England on 3rd March 1924 at Blackburn, Wales defeated England 2-1. In the Home Championship match played against Northern Ireland on 15th March 1924 at Belfast, Wales defeated Northern Ireland 1-0.

The above International cap was awarded to Jack Nicholls who played a total of four times for Wales at full International level. He was born on 14th February 1898 and started his footballing career with Cardiff Corinthians before joining Bridgend and subsequently Newport County. He joined Cardiff City in 1924 before returning to Cardiff Corinthians in 1925
