painted and gilt with various festival processions with officials being carried in palanquins flanked by attendants carrying lanterns, boys carrying umbrellas and banners, figures pulling flower carts and figures on horseback, all around central sprays of butterflies in flight within key fret and floral borders -- the saucers 5¼in. (13.3cm.) diam, signed N.B.Scantlebury, Eikoku (England), (some enamel rubbing).
