with kiku head finial and scrolling feet, painted and gilt with shaped panels of ladies and children at leisure on a riverbank and eating and drinking in an interior on a ground of irises amongst swirling waters and dense flowerheads and geometric designs -- 4in. (10.2cm.) high, signed Hana...; and a circular box and domed cover with flowerhead finial, decorated with panels of figures walking through river landscapes, ladies and children at leisure and birds and butterflies amongst trees and flowers, all on a dense floral ground, the interior with further butterflies amongst wisteria and further flowers -- 4¾in. (12cm.) diam, signed Kozan, (both with minor gilt rubbing).
