on four short feet, painted and gilt with peonies and prunus issuing from rockwork on the banks of a meandering river, all within geometric pattern borders -- 4½in. (11.5cm.) wide, signed Satsuma, Kizan zo, (cover broken and restuck, inside of box with rim partially chipped away).
