with everted rim and short foot, painted and gilt to the interior with a multitude of butterflies in flight below a border of dense flower sprays including peonies, irises, chrysanthemums, wisteria and daisies, the rim with a band of key-fret, the underside with further flowers on a gold sprinkled ground above a band of scattered flowerheads and scrolling foliage -- 9½in. (24cm.) diam, signed and sealed Kinkozan zo, wood stand.
