its head turned to the left with mouth open and teeth bared, the tail whiped over its haunches and fur markings picked out in black, white and gilt -- 9¾in. (24.8cm.) long, signed Satsuma Kizan, (one ear chipped, small chip to underside of one leg, some rubbing and wear).
