decorated with bands of panels in low relief, emblematic of the virtues, science, earth, fire, water and air around a central boss with an ovolo border, by Elkington & Co, (lacking tablet) - 48cm dia; and another Victorian electro-type plated basin, (a replica of a Charles I basin) embossed with panels of dolphins and fruit, engraved with scrollwork, the central boss pricked with two armorials and an inscription and date "1637", by Elkington & Co, (with applied tablet on reverse) - 46cm dia.
