A 1¾-inch (4.3cm.) diameter terrestrial miniature globe, made up of twelve hand coloured engraved gores, the equatorial and the ecliptic both ungraduated, the continents coloured in outline, no Antarctic coastline shown (somewhat discoloured), contained in a turned wooden "chalice" style case, with carved foliate section running three quarters of the way around the cup, the cover with turned knop -- 5¾in. (14.5cm.) high
