A 24-inch (60.6cm.) diameter terrestrial globe, made up of 48 colour lithographed gores overbound with two polar calottes, the physical globe showing the principal mountain ranges and rivers, the principal borders, the seas showing currents and ice limits; metal axis, brass half meridian circle, on turned ebonised oak column and base (a few small cracks and old abrasions) -- 41in. (104.1cm.) high
