The shaded rust field with angular vine issuing various polychrome palmettes, panels and angular leaves, around large shaded charcoal shaped medallion with bold hooked palmette pendants, containing serrated palmettes and angular vine, enclosing similar smaller light brick-red medallion with stylised chequered panel centrepiece, ivory and ice-blue wide spandrels similar, in a shaded indigo border of polychrome turtle-palmettes and angular flowering vine, between brick-red and ivory palmette vine stripes, slight localised wear, small moth damage at one side, very slight loss at each end
