Attributed to Gillows, the sliding top with a pierced brass three-quarter gallery and a sloping fall inset with a gilt-tooled red-leather lined writing surface enclosing pigeon holes, with a fitted inkwell drawer to the side, above a slide inset with a gilt-tooled red-leather lined surface, with four graduated drawers below, between fluted lotus-carved turned column supports and turned feet raised on castors
