Applied with gilt-metal mounts and decorated with meandering floral vines, lines and tulipwood crossbanding, the superstructure with pierced brass galleries, fitted with a central mirrored door with one drawer below and flanked to either side by three drawers, the serpentine top inset with a leather-lined writing surface above a shaped frieze fitted with a central drawer, on cabriole legs terminating in gilt sabots
