Maker's mark of Samson Wertheimer, London, 1850.
The spine applied with two plaques, one engraved in Hebrew Charity for the Society of purchasing books, the other in English Charity books for praying and books for learning, the front corners with silver foliate scroll openwork mounts, the center with conforming plaque with slot, with conforming hinged strap clasp--10in. (25.4cm.).
