A SILVER SPICE TOWER, WITH A VICTORIAN AND A CONTINENTAL EXAMPLE
The first unmarked, 20th century; the second maker's mark of S. Walton Smith, Birmingham, 1889; the third stamped 12.
Each architectural form, first and third with hinged door and pennant flag, the first filigree, with four bells and flags at the corners--13in. (34.2cm.) high; the second on two tiered corded open base, with lion form pennant--7in. (17.7cm.) high; the third on initialed circular base, with rotating, part openwork, hexaongal body and spire, the body with openwork shaped panels at the corners with pendant heart--7in. (19.6cm.) high; together with another architectural example (unmarked), a small spice tower, and a pewter fish form box; the first three--21oz. (6)
