A CONTINENTAL FILIGREE SILVER 'BA'AL SHEM TOV' TYPE CHANUKKAH LAMP
Probably Ukrainian, circa 1840, struck with stag(?) passant and 12 on detachable platform.
The cartouche-form backplate decorated with a double-headed eagle in an oval cartouche, flanked by pillars crowned by birds, the center with an elaborate crown topped by bird, the galleried detachable platform set with eight pitcher-form oil receptacles, also fitted with a detachable pitcher, with red painted metal backplate, all on six scroll supports--9in. (22.8cm.) high and 11in. (27.9cm) long, gross weight 16oz.
