Rear pirogue boatman 'Piroguier arrière'

Another cast of this composition was exhibited at Leopoldville in July 1948. There are eleven sculptures on this theme in Dupagne's works , including a bronze 2m 20 high in the permanent collection of the Musée Royal de l'Afrique Centrale in Tervuren.
