the raised back with imbrocated flowerhead carved and dentil-moulded top-rail above a panel depicting putti being drawn across the sea by seahorses, with mask capped downswept arms, on mythical beast supports, above a hinged seat and a further panelled front depicting a classical lady between carved griffens, on foliate-carved plinth base, one arm detached -- 55½in. (141cm.) wide
