Designed by Frederick Schultz and Manufactured by Warnick and Leibrandt, Philadelphia, circa 1851
The rectangular top with laurel leaf and swag-cast decoration and inscription, "DESIGNED BY FREDK SCHULTZ PATD APRIL 1st 1851," above a conforming body cast with a band of stars over a freize of alternating shields and laurel wreaths above fluted columns alternating with laurel branches inset in a rounded recess over rectangular reserves centering laurel leaves on a conforming stepped base with cast inscription, "2/UNION AIR TIGHT PATENTED 1851/WARNICK & LEIBRANDT PHILA"
