A fine mid-19th Century fully rigged model of the Dutch 18-gun frigate De Onderneming, with standing and running rigging, yards with stun's'l booms, foot robes and scale blocks, anchors with 'D' chains, catheads, belaying rails and pins, bulwark hammock stowage and hammocks, gratings, deck rails, companionways, main deck guns in carriages with tackle, robe coils, three ships boats with thwaits and oars in davits, one in chocks and many other details, the planked hull finished in black and green and 'gilded' stern and quarter windows, with Dutch label saying 'De Onderneming' of 224 last was built by the yard Commerce Compagnie Middelburg for Boddaert & Co at Middelburg and launched April 18, 1840; Captain H.
