Painted in the centre with two coat-of-arms, the left within a rocaille field, crested and flanked by branches, the right within scrolling feathery mantling and crested, a spearhead border in the well and four cartouches on the border, enclosing landscapes and a bird on a branch, (crack and minute rim chips)

Lot Essay

The arms with the anchor are those of the Dutch family Jordan, possibly of Jean Jordan of Amsterdam.
The arms with the birds are possibly those of Van den Bergh, cf. Rietstap, Armorial General, p. 1049
