Large rectangular box of polished gold, the cover and sides engraved with laurel leaf garlands, the lid applied with Countess Mona Bismarck's jewelled silver monogram MB below a princely crown, within an engraved laurel leaf surround, the base engraved with a Greek key pattern, diamond-set silver thumbpiece
