PROBABLY GERMAN, WITH MARKS RESEMBLING TO THE MAKER'S MARK OF PAUL ROBERT, THE CHARGE AND DISCHARGE MARKS OF ELOY BRICHARD AND A LATE-LETTER CROWNED "V"
Rectangular box, the cover, sides and base set with mother-of-pearl panels applied with Chinoiserie and exotic plants in bone, tinted shell, burgau lacquer and gold, with reeded cagework gold mounts and slightly raised scrolling thumbpiece chased with foliage on a trelliswork ground
