Oval box, the cover, sides and base enamelled in translucent blue on an engine-turned vertical coin-pattern ground, framed by white enamel bands, the lid centred by an oval enamel plaque painted with Cupid and a young couple in classical dress, within a white enamel border, the frosted gold mounts applied with opalescent pellets and translucent green enamelled trailing foliage
