Circular box with independent cover, the lid, sides and base enamelled in translucent blue on a ground of radiating concentrical circles scattered with pellets, the cover centred by an oval enamel miniature depicting a putto reading to a seated lady, on an opalescent ground, framed by opalescent beads, the borders set with ropework surrounded by opaque white enamel dots and translucent opalescent enamel beads
