Circular box with independent cover, the lid and base enamelled in gold-spotted blue to simulate lapis-lazuli, the sides engine-turned with a vertical coin pattern, applied with four side dividers, the mounts chased and engraved with bands of scrolls and pellets, the interior lined with yellow horn on a foil ground stamped with stars on a ground engine-turned with concentrical circles
