Rectangular box with canted corners, the cover inset with a rectangular enamel miniature with cut corners finely painted with Theagenes and Chariclea, the sides, corners and base enamelled in opaque white with translucent green inner borders, the frosted gold mounts chased with trailing foliage enamelled in translucent green and scattered with white enamelled dots
