by Guidon, Rémond & Gide, marked, Geneva, circa 1800, the enamel miniature by Henri-Albert Adam, signed
Rectangular box with cut corners, the cover centred by a cartouche, enamelled with a miniature depicting an Allegory of Glory, a carelessly clad young lady reclining in a landscape, her right arm resting on her shield and holding a laurel crown, a gold loop and a sceptre, her left hand pouring gold coins from a green purse onto her décolleté, attended by two putti, bordered in engraved gold by a draped curtain with tassels and scrolls on a black enamelled taille d'épargne ground, within a border of blue enamelled dots alternating with gold flowers on a white enamel ground, the oval reserve on the base and four side panels enamelled with a translucent blue and brown scalework pattern, the corners chased with gold urns in taille d'épargne on a black enamel ground
