Geneva, circa 1815, maker's mark initials "SC" in a lozenge with a fir above and a stylized flowerhead below
Rectangular box with rounded corners, the cover inset with a glazed gold relief plaque decorated in relief with three does under a tree in a landscape, on an opaque blue enamel base with taille d'épargne gold trailing foliage, the base and four side panels with opaque blue taille d'épargne enamel decorated with wavy gold bands, the corners stamped with foliage on a matted gold ground, all panels framed by opaque black enamel bands
