Rectangular white enamel box, the cover, sides and base decorated with silver-gilt raised scrolling foliage forming shaped reserves enclosing Chinoiserie scenes on the cover, and birds and flowersprays on the sides and base, painted in grey and purple camaïeu, some with blue sea-weed in between, reeded silver mounts with everted plain thumbpiece
